The Charlotte Symphony
Orchestra ’s

For the first time in its
27- year history, the symphony will offer a pops series
in addition to the traditional classical series. The
symphony will present five classical concerts from
November through April, 2006.
Pops concerts
will include the traditional |
Holiday Magic Pops
concert on December 4, Trumpet Greats on January 29 and
Rodgers and Romance on March 26. All series concerts
will be held at the Charlotte Performing Arts Center in
Punta Gorda. Janita Hauk returns for her 13th season as
music director and conductor.
In addition to the season
series, the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will perform a
free children ’s
concert of Peter and the Wolf on September 27 for fourth
grade students in Charlotte County and will perform at
the Edison Pops at Sunset concert October 15 presented
by the Edison College Foundation. |
