A judge's boat comes to "Spooked Again" to apprise another tarpon hook-up.

Just six pounds short of a winner, the team on the Julie Jean work to bring the big fish up to boat in a heart-breaker.

Capt. Nat Italiano arrives at the Gasparilla Inn Beach Club and is aglow with victory. The last time he won a tourney was in 1994.

T.R. Potter, Capt. Mark Futch of the Sitarah and Randy Potter are delighted with the tourney. Mark said filming of the film "Hoot" is slated to start on July 5. He added that there will be no filming on the beach at night, and that Jimmy Buffet should be visiting the island. The film company will also be looking for local extras, said Mark. Stay tuned for more.

Capt. Bill Caldwell of the "Lucky Strike" is pictured with his team, Charlie and Nancy Shea and Michael Hamilton who comes from Texas.

The third place winning team for most releases includes: Sally Joiner, Capt. Timmy Smith; with son and first mate, and team leader, Peggy Denby. The team name is placed on the Jay Joiner Memorial Trophy.

Molly McBroom served as a judge with Capt. Sandy Bylaska. Her Grandfather Sprott ran the ferry from the mainland before the bridge was built.

Barb and Richard Gelder; Wendy and Bob Melvin who fished from the Julie Jean, were in great spirits despite not pulling in a winning fish. The team from "Spook" are pictured behind them, the winning team of the tourney.
