Team members pick up their goodie bags during the pre-tourney party at the Gasparilla Inn Beach Club Friday night.

Perennial favorites at the Ladies Day, judge, Martin Goodfreund and Capt. James Schwinn look forward to the Ladies Day tourney every year. "We wouldn't miss it," said Martin. 

Joan and Al Williams volunteer every year; and for Joan it's usually fishing every year too. 
Al performs the task of MC on the beach.

 

Carol Stewart, Capt. Gary Peeples of the Kemosabe, and Donette Todd are ready for the tournament.

Sharon McKenzie, Carol Stewart, Jean Rebeck, and Carol Lockett, enjoyed the post-tourney party Saturday night at the Boca Bay Power House.

Brad Hollander with Julie Keffeler, daughter of Joan Williams, is also a perennial of the tournament, both as a volunteer and participant. She travels from Omaha, Nebraska.

 

Oris Taylor with Ashley Miller, 4, whose mommy,Tammi Miller is fishing with the "Taylor Crew" and Capt. Jerry Taylor on the Plugger.

Beth Brumer, Kemper Craig, Buff Craig, and Robin Futch, were part of "Team Futch" and fished aboard the Sithara with Capt. Mark Futch.

Head Judge, Dixie Hollins also contributes the Christine Hollins Memorial Award, the Angler Prize as well as the Angler's name to the perpetual trophy.
